I think you shouldn't play K9s

But I would go all-in preflop due to stack size.

yea, the best play you could have done is to shove K9s pre-flop, at 6BB u dont have a choice even if there is a limp before u, if you waited for better hands you will still be in a bad shape even if you doubled up.
