Fold. Then fold. Then fold again. And again. And again. Getting the picture ?

Oh. And under no circumstances do this yourself. The timer is an excellent folder without your assistance

Welcome to the forum Micky.

'Exercise patience' is probably the politically correct way to say what the others are saying.

Look through some threads on the subject..you should be able to find a couple.

Sad but true. I try my hardest to play small-ball until a good chunk of the field is gone. /shrug

Yes Mr. Darkman, it was nice stalling and folding with you the other day. Maybe one day we'll play poker together.

You need to play 2 hands in 90 minutes, so make sure you play the right ones and as for the rest fold, fold fold and fold

Lol - and still have time to grow a beard, even if you're female.

This league has been de-scrotumized and gutted by letting the freeroll fish play in the pool. IT IS NOT A SCHOOL LEAGUE ANYMORE! It is a fool league and you just have to WAIT IT OUT and HOPE you get into the premier league to play POKER instead of bingo. Also try not to lose your bankroll attempting to get 150 VPPs. Aside from that... these guys are right... get to love waiting for Chrstmas in July.

First post to a thread: hi all

Glad to read your comments about the new tournaments. I think I played, oh let me count.... 6 or 8 hands in the last three tournaments. And one of them got me kicked out in the first five minutes cause of a bad beat. Go figure.

So yeah, kinda depressing to realize that, to be in the points/money in the leaderboard, you have to fold (or be sitted out, as many people already do) or play your monster hands and pray...

Are all poker tournaments like that or only the freeroll ones?

And pardon my grammar: I am a french speaker.

One of the benefits of playing larger buyin tournaments is that they are often deep stacked. This allows you to play a bit more poker, make some stronger moves without destroying yourself early.

Interesting indeed. I will keep that in mind... And maybe that mean that in live tournaments (in casinos for example), there are less gamblers (hey, a guy can dream).

On the other hand, what you are saying means that, since the PSO tournaments are freerolls with a less-than-deep stack, we will have to learn to live with the gamblers... And also risk being kicked if our less-than-premium-hands loses... (that being said, even premium hands loses lol).

Thank you
