Our women's national football team take on the old enemy ( France ) in the semi-finals in the world cup. There playing some good football so lets get behind them. England, England England.

the canadians who were ranked 6th or 7th in the world are out ...my second team is england ...go england go

Dan, you of all people, read what I said again, I mention not "soccer" but rugby and I guarantee any rugby scrummage line would take out any "defensive line" without having to wear helmets to do so.

Dan, I think you intimate here about how "soccer" is viewed in the US.

The wider view, outside of the US, yes it does exist, is that US sports are nothing but minority sports to those across the rest of the globe.

Take "baseball", how can you have a "World League" when only US, a few Canadians and the odd Japanese play it?
