Hello ,

I have been playing poker for near 6 months , mainly PSO skill league tourney's & micro stakes SitnGo games . I have recently began to focus on micro stake ring tables and I would like to know what the best reading material is to improve my game of online ring table no limit hold em .

I comprehend the basic math of outs/probability/odds and comparing them to pot odds, I understand the concept of postition and profitable starting hands - I'm a tight aggresive player who needs to improve post flop play and many other aspects of my game .

I have been told 'winning poker one hand at a time' & 'Harrington on hold em' are excellent books to read however , reasoning them to be MTT orientated .... Can you recommend the best reading material for online micro stake/low stake cash ring table poker , I feel I need to read up on the game more to take my game to be more competitive .

Hi Jargon,

I think this question came up before and the general consensus was that there is not really anything on the market that covers this area in great detail.

I would, however, recommend Live Training or the videos on the site here, which will give you a good grounding in low stake ring games.

The Poker Blueprint
Treat your Poker like a Business
Professional No-Limit Hold'em Volume I
Small Stakes No-Limit Hold'em
Poker Math That Matters
Hole Card Confessions
The Mental Game of Poker
No-Limit Hold'em Theory and Practice

All of these books are very highly recommended, although I can't personally vouch for many of them. They don't deal with micro stakes, but you could doubtlessly learn from the concepts they teach.
