In Omaha you MUST ALWAYS play 3 cards from and board and 2 from your hand. To make a fullhouse on this board requires 3 (2h 2c Tc) cards from your hand.

oh dear you are playing a game you dont know the rules of.

you must use 2 of your hole cards (no more no less) and 3 from the community (no more no less)

your best hand here was 222KQ

you cannot use the T in your hole cards

warning: learn the rules or you will go broke

In omaha vaiants, you MUST play 2 cards form your hand.

this means you can NEVER "play the board".

this means you can NEVER use jsut 1 card to complete a hand and 4 on the board.

In this spot, you FLOPPED a set of 2's, using both of the 2's in your hand (you also hold a gut shot improvement to a K hi straight if a J falls).

the turn card is a 7, blanking you, but putting a possible flush out there.

the river card is another T BUT...

the board is not paired so you cannot have a full house. You paly 22 and a 2 on the board, plus the highest "off card" on the board as the "kickers". To hold a boat here, you;d have to play 3 cards...both your 2's AND your T.

you lose with a set versus the flush.

See?

Wasn't limit either

To the OP, you should check out:

http://www.pokerschoolonline.com/art...Ville-Wahlbeck

He runs some sessions on many games, if you are in the mood for learning the basics of variants outside of nlhe. I haven't watched them through myself as I know them all, but I'm sure they would be helpful.

lol firstly its obviouosly not limit omaha its PLO your playing........second thats a horrible horrible hand to be playing as sets of 2s and 3s just small sets in general get run over a ton and u increase ur variance by playing hands like this as most draws and boards with your flopd set always give a good amount of equity to players who are drwaing against ur hand..........

Also i dont understand why you donk bet the river then called his ship with bottom set, i garrantee you you will be beat there 100% of the time......

PLO is a complex game and providing you put in lots of hours you will get better experience is the best learning tool in poker :P

Goodluck
