that early in a tourney, you can't "push people out". if you don't have the best hand, then you have to muck it. Almost all players will not fold 2 pair in that situation.... with your chat, they will NEVER fold it.

Also, don't put something like you did into chat.... it'll be a big tell for your hand. When you did that, I absolutely knew you couldn't beat 2 pair, so if I'm the opp, it's an automatic call.

i saw him play 8 out of 10 hands following any ace or draw or bottom pairs with a realy wet board, i won 3 times he had bottom pair and just followed trough to the river!! played any suited, gaps and connectors called any form of bet if he felt an itch or smellt something!

answer your question????

ok but what possed him to call the raise and then the c-bet??? it must be boredom because i can't put a finger on a different reason! he hit 2 pair after the turn so what he does after that is normal and indeed i have to shut up but i was feeling the loss :S i can load up another 10 of those only from today lol so i think i reacted a little tired on his betting actions

Same Answer to this:

"How do you batter down a brick wall with your head?"

The way you play rampant calling station, and/or "clue-less" players to to bet against them FOR VALUE. You do not "try to push them out".

Instead, you consider your odds to DRAW at over cards (like your AK), and you paly accordingly.

People who have little understanding of poker will have little understanding about the things you are trying to do to tell them a weak 2nd or 3rd pair hand is no good. So do not TRY telling them a story in French, when all they understand is Pig Latin.

calling stations will call every bet until they are out of a tourney.... it's normal for them. The way to beat them is what JD said. You have to wait until you know you have the best hand, then value bet them. They'll win a bunch of smaller pots, then, when you get the best hand, they will double you up.

That type of player will be in all of the lower buy-in tourneys... basically all the micros (and a bunch of them in some higher buy-in tourneys too).
