The part I found interesting is how the group doesn't anticipate legislation since the current Congress is the "No Congress." Think the supporters are on the right track, but their plan will take many, many years.

I did find it enlightening how the major American casino operators are looking to enter the market. They even have state regulators drafting rules.

Though the article dangles the lure of a resolution in the near future, I'm thinking they anticipate a long campaign.

I got Dolphin fans ragging MY team? LOL

See you guys in the playoffs....err then again probably not.

Dan Marino,Larry Csonka,Larry Little,AJ Duhe and Jake Scott are NOT coming through that door (apologies to Rick Pitino...).

Just one quick thought I want to throw out there insofar as HOW legislation legalizing on-line poker could very well land on the President's desk--they same way UIGEA landed on Bush's desk to begin with---a rider on another bill. Who could do that? The Senate Majority Leader. Who's the current Senate Majority Leader? Harry Reid, who is on record as saying that on-line poker will be legalized, and sooner than later.

Something to think about.

I dunno Dry. To me Forte is a good back, just the Bears OL is terrible. Don't see how letting Kreutz go makes things better.

I went to a Bears game in Charlotte last year when they came here to play the Panthers, I had great seats we were right next to the tunnel where the Bears came in and out of. At the end of the game Forte threw his gloves into the stands and I caught one of them. Yeah getting rid of Kreutz was silly I think but Lovie makes weird decisions anyway.

losing Kreutz was a problem... BUT... the tackles are a TON better this year, with Carimi added. Bears running game should be alot better this year.

LOL ya I don't get the dig on Forte not being a decent rb. 1069 yards rushing (4.5 avg) and 1616 total yards from scrimmage, 9TD's... behind that abysmal O line situation we had, that's pretty damn good.

I guess we just are still looking for a Walter Payton who could make miracles happen with a boink O-Line. I recant my statement earlier Forte is good but Rande Barber to me might bring some points on the board. It is weird how we won many games by special teams or Hester running his butt off form a kickoff. Now nobody want to kick the ball to him, always out of bounds. BOOOOOOOO we want to see a guy run back a touchdown.

Yep you guys should be pissed over this new dumbass kickoff from the 35 yard line garbage. Hester is going to spend the whole season fielding the ball out of the back of the end zone I'm thinking.

We don't much care for it here in Ravensland either as Billy Cundiff's 40 touchbacks last year gave us a distinct edge over every other team from that side of the ledger. Now anybody can kick the ball out of the end zone.

Overkill ruling by the league IMO. Think this rule is gone after one year. If not sooner.

I know some basic's of the gridiron, played once in high school PE.
But I think the pads/helmets bit of overkill inmo (but I spouse it stops injury's) , as with Rugby League/Rugby union they don't use.
12 day's to World Cup Rugby union here in NZ
beep we lost too Ozys last night

Yeah we wont be trying that one again what a huge donkey play call that was.

This year will be more like 07, good luck covering Antonio Gates. Raven's are coming to SD at a bad time this year, December is when the Chargers actually play well.
