i have a question. it seems recently (within the past few months) that the U.S. is no longer allowing cash games and the like to U.S. players. which, being a U.S. player, ticks me off.
my question is this, A. how is it the gov. can do this and why? B. is there a way to circumvent this to allow U.S. players the opportunity to enjoy these games ?
please help me if you can, thanks

Welcome to the forum Monty.

You should be hearing some opinions on this, especially if the question were posed in the general forum instead of here.

We American players have been feeling these effects since April my friend, and there are many opinions on if and when we may be able to return. Have a look around the forums.
There's still plenty to learn from the site and a lot of players from the US and elsewhere enjoy home games in play chips and they really are great games.

Until then,
