Below is a hand that I played in the league today. A lot of Spanish players at the table. Within the hand they start speaking in Spanish. I don't really know Spanish and google translate wasn't much help. My question is are the players in this hand saying what they have or is this a mistake in my translation. I don't want to accuse no one who is innocent so that is why I am asking for your help.

Send an email to support@pokerstars.com with the hand history and ask them to investigate.

Looks like they may have, at the very least, broken card room rule 20.

Please post the results of their investigation when you receive it.

Probably just a warning.

Hello Dinu,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

I have reviewed the chat of 'josesa1956' and 'rotciv1994' and have found their comments to have violated PokerStars tournament rules, listed on our website:

Although many of our players are not aware of all proper poker rules and etiquette, this player has now been informed of the applicable rules.

Any future contraventions of the rules by this player will result in their receiving a chat revocation or even a tournament disqualification.

Once again, thanks for your report, and best of luck at the tables.

PokerStars Game Security Team

This was the response. So they were guilty but not punished, only warned.

Thanks for the follow-up post.

All we can do is report these and know that it's been noted on their file.

At least if they continue to break the rules, PokerStars has background to impose harsher penalties in the future.

Getting PokerStars is easy: download and install the PokerStars game software, create your free player account, and validate your email address. Clicking on the download poker button will lead to the installation of compatible poker software on your PC of 51.7 MB, which will enable you to register and play poker on the PokerStars platform. To uninstall PokerStars use the Windows uninstaller: click Start > Control Panel and then select Add or Remove programs > Select PokerStars and click Uninstall or Remove.
