I alledge (careful choice of word there) that all is not as it should be in the satellites and have therefore submitted a report to support that I believe will show active same table multi accounting.

No names unless and until my allegation proves founded. So just make sure you watch what EVERYBODY'S doing on your table.

Help is on it's way SAP. It appears that there is agreement on the need to fully investigate this one

Hello Darkman61,

Thank you for your mail.

Based on a preliminary review of the situation you reported, a complete review of the players involved has been initiated. This will include checking on relationships, location and play.

Depending on our findings, the players may be contacted and asked to explain relationships and/or play. The entire process generally takes up to 2 weeks, but can be delayed if we don't receive prompt responses.

The poker specialist handling this review will contact you directly when the review is complete or if there are unusual delays. Thank you for your patience while we complete this process.

Regards,

PokerStars Support Team

Well if it's true Dman then i think it's sad.
I really enjoy the 1k monthly added tourney.
It's 1 of the tournaments left that has a good field - good banter - and you tend to know most players who compete in it.
Abit like the old PSO league comp.
So if some1 is sad enough to cheat in order to win an $11 ticket then they need stopping.

Oh it's true mate. I don't make such allegations lightly....................

"Hello Alan,

Again, thank you very much for your report. Our review of
'codypie01' and 'B_Swizzle81' is now complete. We confirmed a
relationship and found that they did go easy on one another
(known as soft play) on occasion. This is a violation of our
tournament rule #20 as posted at:

http://www.pokerstars.com/tournamentsrules.html

We have the advantage of being able to replay the games with all
cards exposed. We carefully reviewed all events in which at least
one of the two finished in the money. As a result of our
findings, players who were likely harmed by the unfair play have
been advanced and have received credits consistent with their new
finish position. Because we found reason to believe that they
were not aware of the seriousness of the unfair play, the cost to
advance these players has been paid by PokerStars. You finished
7th in T#444365630 behind both 'codypie01' and 'B_Swizzle81'. As
such we have advanced you into 5th and I have credited your
account with $10.00 to reflect your new finish.

It is not uncommon to find that players are not aware of the
seriousness of such action in tournament play. The overall
review, which included requests for explanations from the players
and consideration of all account information, led us to conclude
that their action was not malicious. Therefore they will be
allowed to continue playing on the site. That said, we did take
action to see that they do not play in the same Sit & Go
Tournaments in the future, or at the same cash game table for
that matter.

The integrity of our games is of utmost importance as is fair
resolution of situations such as this. Our primary concern is to
assure our players of a fair and secure environment in which to
enjoy online poker. Your vigilance in noticing the situation and
reporting your concerns are appreciated. Please don't hesitate to
let us know anytime you have questions or concerns.

Bret W

Now. Let me say that had these guys been found innocent I wouldn't have named them. Similarly, had they been booted from the site they would have remained nameless. However. The action that's been taken against them, or more specifically "hasn't", means you need to know who they are. Although I can appreciate that steps are now in place to prevent these people easily cheating others again, they are still allowed to play the game in which I found them out.

So if you're playing the satellites tonight, you might want to pay a little extra attention to what's going on if they both land on your table.

So as a customer are you pleased with the outcome or do you think more should have been done?

The above is my main issue with how they conduct investigations.
This response will be the response if its their first violation or 6th.

Very good investigative work Darkman.

However, if anyone does see them playing at the same table again then there should be serious consequences for both.

I do remember someone posting a link for the reasoning behind allowing such instances to be treated leniently by the guy that is in charge of the Poker room, Lee something or other. I remember thinking he is making some reasonable points here.

However, if there ever a second occurrence then these players should have their accounts terminated.

Cheers,

TC

Yes and I know more will be done if it reoccurs

Question about your last comment, do you have proof of this or are you just assuming?

I THINK IT IS THE RIGHT ACTION FOR A FIRST VIOLATION AND I'M SURE IT WONT BE THE SAME NEXT TIME
BUT SOME PEOPLE WOULD NOT BE HAPPY IF THEY WERE TAKEN OUT AND SHOT
SOME WILL BE HAPPY SOME WONT

Do you have anything to disprove the vast conspiracy of chat mods on poor Lithuanian players as depicted in many forums other than this one??

LOL still the broken record
You have to know the difference between chat mod and support
In case you don't know (oh ya, you don't know) All results posted in the forum are results from support and not from chat mods
So what does your comment about chat mods have to do with this thread?
All you want to do is stir the pot, well at least, use the right ingredients

Hey cookies, I was being civil here
Not sure but I think it's the first time I question you, the other times were more of an argument. I know the hitman story, never saw any thread about him being caught cheating 6 times, that is why I asked proof about getting the same reply for one or six offenses. Maybe you could point me in a more exact direction
