I promise this will be long if you can handle it.

Chapter One - Before poker life

I suspect there is some luck involved in poker after all so i start with my previous gambling history.
Around 1985 ,it was the time i started betting on Horse-races,it was more like investing ,i was buying a single minimum ticket every race with odds greater than 100:1 for 15 full years or as you say in poker for about 20,000 hands .
Investment gone great through time ,i was never made bigger standard bet , patience paid off great , 7 times in 15 years i cashed out ticket with odds over 5000:1 - Other minor (<300:1) cash-outs was feeding my bankroll so those 7 times made my whole horse race profit .
Race track moved away from my home and since i do not drive ,this whole thing ends around year 2001,please reader notice i was never read/study or ask 'reliable sources' about what to play ,i was just buying tickets with random thoughts following my single rule : odds >100:1

Later i will post Chapter Two - Starting poker

Any comments, suggestions are welcome / Talk you all later .

As a micro-stake punter on the horses as well I'm really looking forward to this thread.
