what do you mean by having no luck? registration starts 15 mins before the tournament starts, be sure to be on the tournament page when that happens to sign up as soon as possible. most of the freerolls are full within 2-5 minutes. Others never get full. Its a matter at what times u play.

Hey derek, welcome to PSO and the forum.
A couple things to start ya' with.
The Open League tourneys can be found in blue in the main pokerstars lobby under the Tourney Tab > private or freeroll. They are called Pokerschool Open Skill League.
Click on the League tab above to get the schedule and all the requirements for participating in the Open League.
You can also participate in the Premier Qualifier League if you become a member. You will also need to become a member of PSO to receive a payout, should you earn one in the Open League.

To become a member, you need to pass the core quiz. You can find the quiz in the Courses tab. After the text in the core course, there will be a quiz. You need to pass that and then you will be a member.
The Premier Qualifier games are found only in the private Tourney tab along with the Premier League games.

As advised, be ready to register when it opens.
You can participate now in the Open League, and then pass the core quiz when you have time. Just get it done in the next day or two.

Let us know if you have any questions...lots of helpful people here.

You should be all set now Derek. You do need to play at least 5 games a month to be eligible for a prize, but it will take a bit more than 5 to earn a prize.
Take a look at your tournament tickets in the Pokerstars lobby. It's under the Request tab up top. When you open that, you should see a ticket from Pokers School now. It may take a day or so to show up, and if it is slow, just send an email to support@pokerschoolonline.com and they will issue it to ya' right away. You don't need the ticket to compete in the Open league, but it is needed for other things, like the monthly 1K added tourney.
Take a look at the league tab above to see what you need to do in the Open or Qualifier league in order to advance to the premier league. The League tab has info that every member should really get ingrained in their head. You can also find numerous threads on how to do well in the leagues.
Congrats.
