Hi, I'm new to PSO and am happy to say I've spent the last couple of hours reading up on things and going through the different areas and passed both quizes (only just ) And I was referred here by the 5$ offer for pokerstars, can anybody help me on that how this will work out, when I can get this on my PS account and play? =)

Welcome to PSO and the forum Crunch!
I'm not sure about a $5 promotion for pokerstars, however, Poker School Online offers 5 X $3.40 Sit 'n Go tickets for passing the sng quiz and depositing for the first time. If that is what you are referring to, you can find all the details by clicking on the promotions tab up above and then scrolling down to the Sit 'n Go promotion, which is the 3rd one.

If it's a promotion from Pokerstars, I don't see any listed here.

If you can explain it a little further, that would be helpful.

Congrats on passing everything. You've found a great place to learn with great people.
Be sure to check through all of the tabs up top to see everything offered here. Live training, forums, blogs, videos, and all the rest are fantastic resources.

For the info on the Pokers School League, click on the League tab above, and start with the Open League, and the Premier Qualifier League. Once you do well in those, you will be advanced into the Premier League.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Hi Crunch,

I think the offer you refer to comes from Intellipoker.de.

I am not sure if you can be a member of both PSO and Intellipoker ( I know that when I came to PSO I had to give up the Intellipoker platform but that may have changed).

Email support@pokerschoolonline.com or support@pokerstars.com and they should be able to advise if you can be a member of both sites or not. Be so good as to let the rest of us know the outcome

Cheers,

TC

I remember getting $5 from PS way back, I'd been playing Astronomer FR and play money (had 1.02 from Rd 2). I took that 6.02 and built it into a BR, funny how that $5 got me started.

I was such a noob I didn't know the difference between .net and .com, had to send an email to support to figurre out how to use my money to play!!

The rest is history, hope you do even better with your $5.

Is it a home games ticket?

Getting PokerStars is easy: download and install the PokerStars game software, create your free player account, and validate your email address. Clicking on the download poker button will lead to the installation of compatible poker software on your PC of 51.7 MB, which will enable you to register and play poker on the PokerStars platform. To uninstall PokerStars use the Windows uninstaller: click Start > Control Panel and then select Add or Remove programs > Select PokerStars and click Uninstall or Remove.
