Here are my suggestions to improve OSL

1) Reduce the time limit from 30 seconds to 20 seconds or less. This will help speed up play and stop players from gettting frustrated by those players who use this tactic to try and improve their league position.

2) Increase the penalty/ negative points for those players who go out early in the tournaments (first 50%) and increase the points for those players who get past the first bubble.

3) Have an additional quiz for those players who have less than 1,500 points at the end of the month or make them wait a month before they can play again. There a re a lot of players who play in OSL who have no interest in the league per say. They see this a opportunity to win some free money. They don't perhaps realise how tough it is to finish in the top 90 and get $.01 for your efforts

The player at the bottom of the league has a total of 1,221 points and has played in 74 tournaments this month. There is something wrong with this picture

Have a great November in the Leagues

Item #3 has been proposed too many times to count. Long story short: PSO sees nothing wrong with the situation. The more players who see the larger prize for the VPPS, the more rake for the site.

As to the idea of cutting the time, Item #1, that one is excellent. I think they did it the beginning, and it KO'ed several of our leaderboard leaders, including one player who consistently ended the month in the top two hundred without ever playing a single hand.

It's better than it was, but its still possible to get points without playing a hand. I'm not sure what they could do to make it more competitive, but its far from perfect.
