Good Luck to you sir. You're a better man than me, I hate those tourneys! Would love to see someone make a winning run on them!

These are the first five hands of the 360 turbo tourney # 463089788

As you can see, I didn't play any of them, but if I had and the same people that did play, played also, I would have won four of them.

I know this is looking at it 'results oriented', but what I am pointing at is the kinds of hands that the players in these games play.

Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoy these games.

These 360 man and the 990 man turbos, are a great way to let off steam, and they are also very good for trying different approaches to hands.

If you are reading this Cowboy. I am not taking this challenge lightly, these 360's are a lot harder than most people imagine. You have to dodge some pretty strange bullets, but at the same time you need to chip up. A tight player will always get past half the field maybe even eighty percent, but unless he gets some very very good hands is unlikely to get in the money.

I will persevere, but on the results so far, it looks as though I won't succeed.

I thought this hand might give you some encouragement Bill. This is one of the 10 year promo games.

Cheers,

Well Cowboy, that is my challenge over.

Short and sweet.

Although I thoroughly enjoyed myself, I found it very hard to get some good runs.

Too may people in too many pots, when I got good hands I found it very hard to isolate.

With five or six in a pot even my AA KK etc lost to some very strange calls.

There didn't seem to be any way to play post flop poker, people called right to the river with 7 2 off etc. even though I made some pretty substantial bets on each street, they would river either a boat or a four card flush, to beat my High Pockets and AK suited connectors, even when AK was flopped.

Either they have no concept of betting or they are just trusting to luck.

Having said that, however it was very good practice for the Open and the 10th Anniversary games.

I may try again later in the month.

Good try Bill. Yeah these games can frustrate you to no end because to get to the last 2 tables you really have to dodge a lot of bad poker and when all or most of your stack has to be risked over and over again...well 10% is going to happen sooner or later.

This is why after seeing his results in his run in these I think it would be cool if PSO asked ohjeohje to do a session video. Would love to see what he did different in them than I did (pretty sure it was getting more LAG mixed in at some point but would love to see how and at what point) as these games thoroughly kicked my ass.
