Hello addicts

On Saturday the 12th @ 6pm(ET) , 11pm(WET) , there is going to be a Q&A study session on teamspeak
JDean has kindly agreed to be present as well as a couple of other great poker minds
So if you have a query about anything regarding poker etc and would like it to be answered you are more than welcome to come along
It's going to be similar to one of the live training session
If you would like to attend please feel free to PM me for details

Nah...

I actually prep for these things, and they tend to hit the mark on targeted time quite often.

...of course that targeted time MIGHT be 6 hours!

KIDDING!

Really looking forward to this.

Again it begins at 6pm Eastern Time.

I'm not sure if that equates to 11pm or Midnight Western European Time. It's either one or the other.

Just throwing out a little feedback on the first study group which I think was a great success and a big to spike8998 for setting it up!

A total of 7 people joined in the discussion for the duration of the session with a few others popping in and out for a while.

Topics covered included:
  • Mindsets at Live Homegames
  • A Couple of Hand Analysis
  • Bet Sizing, Standard Raises Vs. Betting Tells
  • The Advantage of Attending Study Groups

I thought Jdean's analogy of the bicycle wheel was good. He related the rim of the wheel as the overall quality of a persons poker game and each spoke as representing something that person does to strengthen the wheel. The more spokes on the wheel the stronger it's going to be right and attending a study group is another spoke on the wheel.

I believe there is another one scheduled for next Saturday night and I'd highly recommend it. If you'd like to tag along message spike8998 for details.

Hey Spike, sorry I missed out, went out of town this weekend to visit my sis, and forgot the laptop at home. Hopefully there will be encores.

Can we throw it out there Spike that members can put forward suggestions for topics to be covered or even send in a few hands for analysis.

I know it was post study-group but I really enjoyed the discussion on the hand review.

I must have enjoyed it because I stayed up til' 6.40am talking about it.

All suggestions are welcome
This weeks study session is gonna be on final table strategies and heads up play
JDean has kindly agreed to hold the session
This weeks session is going to be an hour earlier 10pm UK time and 5pm (ET)
If you have any HH's you would like to discuss on Saturday please send them to JDean so he can prepare himself to give you the analysis you deserve
