Was just wondering if there was any more thought put to opening up to allow more entrants to the Open Tournaments??

This thing fills in 3 minutes on a regular basis, allowing in aproximately 10.5% of the total players in the open league/tournament.This 3 minutes means that if you are involved in a hand of any duration when registration starts, your choices are to either pay less attention to the hand you're in, or not get registerred.

I also know that there has to be a limit, or the tours would go on forever.

Just wondered if there had been any consideration to opening up to more entrants.Timeshifting doesn't work to make it more even, maybe there needs to be a max/day, everyone gets 2 tickets/day or something.

This has been partly covered in another thread regarding premier league players entering the open tournies.

It seems to me that the biggest problem is that the tournament is "Open" and you therefore get non-PSO players entering because it's a freeroll.

Maybe it should be restricted to PSO members only or have a tiered registration period, say 3minutes for members and then first come, first served.

I like the idea of two tickets in a 24 hour period. On Saturday I was delayed by 5 minutes and the tournament was full. Although that is just life.

My pet peeve is dual (multi) accounts. Every game I search for them while I sit and run out the clock... I send at least one report a day to Security. Now if they only gave a bounty, lol. Or Poker Stars could just hire me.

Cheers and G.L.

Booby, I know it was coverred in another area. But it really hasn't been adressed by PSO, just swept under the carpet. Ergo me posting it in the PSO Support. \:l

I like the idea of a bounty on these multi's. PokerStars needs to take a pro-active sand on these. Even a ticket for a $1.10 tourney, to show their thanks might be nice when they actually catch someone from your reports.
