been playing poker for a while but im new to online poker. hope i enjoy my stay here.

Great to see you here at PSO. Grade b's suggestion above is a good one and be sure to to check out all the tabs at the top of this page too. There's tons of stuff in here to keep you going.

There's a good bunch of people in here with years of poker playing experience behind them. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Thanks for the intro and welcome to the forum.
After you check out the tabs, be sure and let us know if you have any questions.

The information detailing the Skill Leagues can be found above any leaderboard on the Home tab, in the red League Overview link. Next to that you'll also find the Scoring, Legend to explain the leaderboard, the Schedule and more.

The glossary tab might also be helpful to someone new to online play so you can understand some of the lingo.

Getting PokerStars is easy: download and install the PokerStars game software, create your free player account, and validate your email address. Clicking on the download poker button will lead to the installation of compatible poker software on your PC of 51.7 MB, which will enable you to register and play poker on the PokerStars platform.
