Judging by the stacks at the table this is probably the first hand played in a Sit n Go.

I liked the 3x raise preflop which was fine.

The one over-card that you don't want to see comes out on the flop.

We don't know anything about the Big Blind except for the fact that he's prepared to bet out 64% of his stack (a terrible bet) so we have to assume that he has hit the flop pretty good.

You are left with a call of 67% of your stack. If he's holding and Ace your now a 20% favourite in this situation therfore folding was the best course of action.

Yes, this is a fine fold.

Pre flop you obviously have a hand worth raising up.
You raise a pretty standard amount, and that amount is a pretty small part of your stack.

When the flop comes A high and the BB bets an amount that is essentially putting you in a shove or fold spot, shoving is a pretty poor option really.

If you are WRONG you have 2 live outs, plus the possibility of some back door flush outs. That is not enough to put a 65BB sack at risk on...

If he bluffed you, he bluffed you, at least you still have a stack and you still have a shot at snapping off his silly bluffs later on (if it WAS a bluff, which I doubt). Personally, if this guy had a cheese hand like A2 or something, I'd be thanking him with a big fat smile on my face for letting me out of the pot so cheaply.

Good fold.
