Season III - Week 4

Team Standings
Sleeping giant Generation X awoke and nearly took over the lead with a monster week, scoring 1,032 pts and pulling within 173 pts of 1st place. Great job. And speaking of awakenings, the BADazzBEARS finally came out of their early season hibernation, scoring a hefty 876 pts that bumped them up from last to 5th place in the standings. Good job honey lickers, nice to see you back grrrrr'ing with authority. 1st place Alpha had what was for them a slightly less than average week, but still scored an impressive 704 pts and remain in 1st place. And the surprising Solvent Puberties continue to impress with another good week, scoring 637 pts to stay in 3rd place for the second week in a row. Well done. As we near the halfway point of the season there are a couple teams that are hoping to pull away from the pack, a few teams that have their eye on first, and a few that are going to need to pull it together quick before it's too late. Good luck to all the teams in Week 5.

Player of the Week

Alpha cappy alamoterror, who went scoreless the first two weeks of the season—coaching from ringside while his more than capable teammates took care of business in the ring—has fought his way back by following up a solid Week 3 with a 1-2 punch 1st and 2nd place finish for 253 points in Week 4 to win Player of the Week honors. This strong showing also moved him into the top 10 of League Scoring. Good games. Gen X'er Wackman's was nearly as good, getting 2nd and 3rd place finishes to net 226 pts. Great job. Newcomer easydeuce747 is working to make his mark and had a great week with a win and a 7th to score 221 pts. 'deuce also won the Thanksgiving Turkey Shootout and a poker hat on Thursday. Well done. appydawg88 also had a win and a 7th for 214 pts and his fellow bear, cappy tracythebear, had a nice week too getting a 3rd and a 4th for 213 pts. Great job everyone.

League Scoring Leader
s
LBM&T, aka "Lil Buddy", continued his big play and increased his League Scoring lead to 203 pts, sitting atop the leaderboard with 767 points. Very impressive. Dirty Rook did fall a little further behind, but remains in 2nd and has scored 564 pts so far this season. Wackman's is in 3rd with 474 pts, followed by OZZY-STL (452 pts) and Jr_RLC (421 pts).

EPC Top Gun
Lil buddy wasn't as fortunate here as Dirty Rook took over the lead in the Top Gun standings, getting his 2nd win of the season to lower his average to 2.5. LBM&T didn't fall too far from the lead though and is right behind in 2nd at 2.75. Kool Breeze cappy 90softtop is in 3rd with a 6.5 average and we have a 4 way tie for 4th with last years Top Gun champ SPOILER64 along with Jr_RLC, newcomer apd1122 and Wackman's all at 7.25. Rook and Lil Buddy are the only players left to have gotten a final table every week and this race looks to be shaping up a bit differently than the previous two seasons. Unless one or both of them can keep up their torrid pace for 6 more weeks it seems quite a few players could be in contention for this title. Good luck.

Wins and Final Tables

75 diamonds, Dirty Rook and Mithrall, all with 2 wins apiece, are the only players with multiple wins so far this season. LBM&T leads the final table count with 8, with Dirty Rook and JR_RLC tied for 2nd, each with 6 ft's. Tied for 4th with 5 ft's each are OZZY-STL, RAMs_Lolo and Wackman's. Put these 9 players together and that'd be one scary final table.
