Edit, it was small blind not button!

This ruined my tourney, was I right to play this? I was having a bad run anyway, this was the first hand in about 20 that I had played, and the only hand previous I got anything from was a split pot.

Need more info. Like a lot more info. What tournament was this? How turbo-y is it? If it's turbo and this guy has been jamming a lot, then as lame as it is this is a great spot to get it in. You're ahead of his range and there is no point in passing up an edge. Gamble it up. If this is a skill league tourney this is a snap fold as you have a better chance waiting it out than of winning a preflop race with ATs.

This was UKIPT league, I was really getting frustrated at having no playable hands, I had stuff like 72, 82, 92 a lot, complete crap. I know now it was a mistake to call.
