Challenge Completed

Had a really bad run towards the end

Started to make old mistakes again going to have to work on those and try to work on other things as well.

But all in all ended with profit

Way to do it poker, nice job.

Hey man looking at your results here and when you say that you were making the "same old mistakes again" I think one that I've spotted with your results before is evident from games 65 through 83. Look what happened here...

The previous session (59-64) you had a little 6 game blank. Meh,that happens in these as you well know. But then look how many early outs you have right behind that in games 65-83. A bunch of outs in the 40's and 30' at first, then you calm down and bubble 3 in a row from 74-76,but then go right back to the early outs again. After you finally cash the 6th in game 84 look at your results the rest of the way. You made it to the final 2 tables almost every time, thus giving yourself a chance.

It looks to me like you fall into the trap of after having a few blanks you start pressing and trying to force the action early. It's easy to see for me because I used to do it myself.

Don't. The first key to success in these 45 mans is patience in the early stages. Let the game come to you. Patience early in these is the first key requirement to consistent success in them. You know you're good enough to bring it home when you get to the end game. Just give yourself more shots at getting there and you'll be even more successful in these.

Remember poker, your position in the field at a given point in an SNG CANNOT knock you out of the tournament. Only the blinds can do that.

Kill it in your second run man, good luck.

No problem man and remember always the "telling a story" aspect of poker as well. In my experience in these mini-micro games most of the players look at tight players and consider them weak as they see themselves as Big Bully Bobby and anyone who knows what a fold button is must be a sissy. Therefore if you employ some patience it's amazing the absolute crap hands some of these players will pay you off with when you do get that big hand.

It's really a win-win to be patient in these in that aspect as the bad players (which means MOST of the field) will get the exact WRONG impression from your patience and the better players, who are more likely to be paying much closer attention to what's going on,will be giving you credit for your raises after you show down a big hand. That sets you up for some stealing on them.
