Hello All,

Check out the shiny new avatar !!!! Booyah !!

Going to represent PSO as best as I can in the following tourneys this weekend with my tickets:

30K $22.00 Saturday 6-Max NLHE 8:00AM EST
30K $55.00 PL Omaha at 9:00AM EST

I am going to try my best, and hope that I can pull out some small miracles along the way and make a deep run in each.

Thanks for the chance PSO !!!

Railers welcome, just try not to laugh if I bust out with some crap hand or make some play that in another forum would be ripped to shreds as moronic !!!!

I have been studying all week, so I deserve a little distraction on Saturday !

Peace

Realistically, I would just love to cash in any of these tourneys. If I do, it makes the rebuy one easier and that is an absolute donk fest, almost every hand is a shove all in from someone until the rebuy period is over !!!

The Heads Up is going to be tricky, not my fav, but if I can build a decent bankroll through all of these tournies, I will be pretty happy !!

Win or lose, I am going to have fun, and maybe catch some people who are "stats hunters" who think I am an easy target !!

Peace

Those rebuys can sometimes be good value, but gosh, sometimes they sure can be wild, eh?

Glad to hear you're enjoying your prize!! Run good!!!

Well,

I will keep it brief, but I played 3 of 8 challenges today, and it has not been good. I feel bad that I did not manage to cash in a at least one, and felt today was a mix of bad cards, frustration, impatience at times, and trying to make a move when I finally have a somewhat decent hand. To those railing the timed tourney, I apologize , i know now i made a bad move, but just felt like i was going backwards all day and let it get to me............

Just going to clear my head, write down the things I did wrong, take the week at least off, study, get a handle on "frame of mind" and containig emotional responses and sense of pressure either real or false.

5 of 8 to go, and I reallly want to prove I can do well, so I am as disappointed as any who watched. Don't get me wrong though, today was fun and a learning experience, and a very positive one i hope.

I will do a blog about it all, and apologize to all for not doing better. I have a lot of resources I can utilize to see if I can get a better result. WIll take the week off to study !!!

Was cool to have Effsea at the same table though !!

Peace and thanks PSO

Your getting down on yourself for no reason. The timed torney was a nightmare and the structure is set up so you have to make some moves or risk blinding out.

I totally understand/agree about the pressure element, but when you have time to think about it there is a good reason Bankroll Management says you should have 100 buy ins for MTT's

your not going to roll in and make the money just by playing good sensible poker, all of us that have cracked AA or turned over KK to be shown AA know that that some luck is going to be needed in these big fields.

As long as you didn't Jam 8Ko second hand of the tourney I'm sure you did us proud man.

I saw you busted out of the Omaha game with 2nd nut flush that was harse, but no-one is going to say you played it badly.
