Currently I am building about 20 bird houses
meant to have them done a few weeks ago but I just neglected to do it.
Depression played a role in that.
Yesterday I cut out the sides , back and front for 14 bird houses and I have about 6 already party
built. So roughly 20 will be made in the next few days . Today I will travel to Richmond Hill Ga.
which is a 30 minute drive just to pick up special lumber for the bottoms and the tops.

Hey chris123, i'm gonna save you a trip to the market... Your paper towels (Bounty) are under the box marked "water tube paint" several rolls it appears... you should start a new thread called "can you help me find....." And just post pics of your garage.. It could be like where's waldo, only different..

Who even has a box for golf hats?

Dang egg..that's a keen eye on the towels.

Chris, what is up with these low rent houses? You attracting a lower income bird these days?
Let see more of the mansions you were putting together before.

Is that rolled down 90 for the roof on the red one Chris? I remember that pimped out birdhouse you showed last year you had an architectural shingle on it (looked like Timberline).

Yeah, my former roofing mechanic is showing.

Cool activity though, glad to see you're still at it. I kind of do something similar. All I have to do is have my herb and vegetable garden going and all the little woodland critters are happy to show up in my backyard like I'm running an all you can eat buffet for the 4-legged.

To be precise those are GAF 25-Year Royal Sovereign Golden Cedar 3-Tab Shingles
I had to look that up after your comment hahahaha, I choose them for their coloring mainly.
If I could mimic the lifetime timberline that would be nice looking
When I apply shingles this year I'm doing them differently
I will be cutting each shingle into a one inch square
that will make them look like a bunch of almost normal shingles
I did that in the past and actually nailed them on , that way but it was very hard
had to use needle nose pliers to hold the small tacks .
While watching TV I saw the Captain who passed away on Deadliest Catch make bird houses .
He was using a hot glue gun to apply stuff to his bird houses . So im going to try that out .
When I use the small shingles . people go nuts over them
I use 4 methods now or rather 4 sizes to the shingles
One giant shingle to cover entire roof of bird house
Two , three , or four pieces to cover roof
One inch strips of various lengths, this actually also resembles a real roof
The most difficult method individual one inch squares to cover the roof
In fact I will price the houses according to the method
If I didnt stay up all night lurking in the poker world I would have more built . :P
This will be the first time I am actually building to sell. In the past I did it for fun and friends.
Kinda ruined the deadline for Christmas Shoppers . I might see how many I can complete tomorrow that will give me Saturday to sell them at the flea market as an experiment. I took them to a store that sells bird feed etc. They are a national chain . They wanted me to draw up a proposal stating how many i could produce per week etc. I never did pursue that either
Some thing about booze , hookers , and poker keeps slowing me down .

Poker should always be second(or third) to booze and hookers. Unless you're funding your boozy hookers through poker profits.

Do the birdhouses bring a better ROI than mass multi-table micro grinding?
