I don't seriously expect to complete this, mainly because I don't think I'll have time to play 100 games by the end of the month, what with xmas and all, but I thought it would be helpful to post my results anyway..

As I said in another post, http://www.pokerschoolonline.com/for...n-SNG-strategy I'm struggling a bit in the mid stages on maintaining my chip stack so trying to work on that. Think I'm playing a little too tight.

Not had much luck with the 90s yet.. I'll try a few more and then maybe switch back to the 45s if I don't get a top 3 finish in them soon.

What looked good in my spreadsheet came out junk in the forum. A little search / replace and changing font seems to have tidied it up.

Thanks for pointing out the graph, had the wrong link. Should be good now

Tom for your chart you should strat with 25 buyins or $6.25 and subtract $.25 for every game you don't cash and then add the prize when you do!

Next few results.. I ended up playing a couple of 25c games by accident due to mis clicks in the lobby.. Has to be said, the non turbo is so much easier.. but I just don't have the time, 3 hrs is a lot of time out of my day. anyway

That last tournament with the 1st place went well, interesting final table, and annoying villain that thankfully I finished on top of. http://www.pokerschoolonline.com/for...ts...&p=318330

Also I won the tournament with a badly played hand, (3 bet villain allin with KT after he raised to 20x, something he'd never done before...) Which I feel kind of bad about. Luckily the board cards fell in my favour. He had AJ, but was a silly play by me.

Stats for the winning tourney
During current Hold'em session you were dealt 261 hands and saw flop:
- 13 out of 45 times while in big blind (28%)
- 12 out of 48 times while in small blind (25%)
- 20 out of 168 times in other positions (11%)
- a total of 45 out of 261 (17%)
Pots won at showdown - 11 of 18 (61%)
Pots won without showdown - 50

Since I'm mixing up my buyins between the 25c and 50c games I'm not really sure where my chart should start really. 6.25 or 12.50? I like just looking at my PnL since the start of the month.

Next result. An acceptable cash in a 90 man turbo. Would have liked to have done better but was getting tricky. Stack sizes were all very similar on final table and blinds were very high so absolutely everyone had < 10 BB. It was basically bingo the order people would go out. For me, pocket 6s lost to overcards. Hey ho.

37....16/12/2011.....484876802....0.5....90....7....1.72....13 .84

Oh also should be keeping track of how many I've played so far this month. That one was number 37, so no chance of completing 100 really.

Also played a 20 fpp turbo PCA round 1 qualifier.. Didn't make the next round but finished 13th to win back my FPPs, so may give another one a go.

Graph now looking very nice anyway..

Still waiting for the elusive 90 man turbo top 3 finish though.

The trouble with the turbos is the speed the blinds go up, you're usually just playing a push / fold game pretty much from just before the bubble right through the final table.. Takes a lot of the skill out.
I wish there were 50c regular speed 9 man games.. I want a regular speed tourney that isn't gonna take over 2 hrs to play..

hi Tom,

You have the same interest as myself, I like the SNG 45/90, as a 9 seat costs $1.50 mainly!

Plus I like Tourneys too.

But I would like to do more 9 seats, its just more of a journey on the bigger seat tables, equals more fun!

I find the same as you, guys early stage, normally after they have got lucky and doubled-up, pushing with almost anything, using a betting strategy to either get others to fold or to stop them entering the pot.

It's difficult, but I think they are open for attack.

btw, what does the heading mean on the last column? I assume its your amount in your account.

Good luck, you are doing well.....Richard

Almost, it's pnl (profit and loss) basically the amount I have won (or lost) just from playing these tournaments this month.

next few results

22/12/2011.....487961965.....0.5.....90.....53.....0.... .13.79
22/12/2011.....487963595.....0.5 ....90.....17.....0.....13.29

22/12/2011.....488159727.....0.5.....90.....12.....0.99. .13.28

very frustrating.. the 53 finish I was actually doing ok chip wise, just ahead of the average, but I was 2 tabling, and switching tables in a hurry I accidentally called an allin shove by another player. I had J5, he had AQ.. Shame cos I was on track for final 2 tables at least..

The 17 finish was very annoying, 17 players left, I was down to 5 BB. Shoved preflop with AA. Got called by big blind with 20 BB. He had T5! He flopped trips and then rivered a full house...
