Thumbing through this month's Chatelaine magazine this morning, I discovered on page 84 ( in the 'real life' section under 'career'), a little article about Isabelle Mercier, Canada's top earning female pro.

Congrats to her, and good for all of us that women playing poker are becoming more mainstream!

I mean..Chatelaine???

Oh, neat! Thx for letting us know freckld

I used to subscribe to Chatelaine, but then I switched to other Rachael Ray because I really like her recipes. Will have to pick the long line next time I'm at Superstore, and check out the article (haha)

That is way cool that they're even covering poker in Chatelaine!!

Yeah, these days most magazines seem to put everything on the web since they have advertising on the net too, what with those pop up ads and videos that hijack the page everytime you click on a link (the mobile site for Us Magazine is the worst for this!! boooooo ) ...

Not sure if the search function isn't working properly at Chatelaine, or if they just haven't put the article online, but when I typed in Isabelle's name, I got "zero results in recipes" ... except I didn't do the search strictly under recipes, so ... ... figured it's just as easy to just entertain myself in line at the check-out

The photographer put a scanned copy on her site, but the quality was kind of grainy ...

Sounds like a good read ... can't wait to check it out!

omgosh ... haha ... whew! Thought it must have been totally easy to find the article ... except I couldn't find it

Now that you mention it, yeah there was a space between the 'on' and the 'line' ... d'oh!
