Officialpokerrankings for tourneys

Sharkscope for SNGS and tourneys

Sometimes players block their stats so you have to use secondary sites to check them out.

Pokerprolabs,Pocketfives and bluff magazine are my secondaries.

I agree with Cookies about Official Poker Rankings for tournament rankings.

I use it all time time to keep track of my ROI.

Be sure to check out if the sites you use are allowed within the Pokerstars Terms Of Service before you use them though.

Just to be on the safe side!

Good luck on the tables!

hmmm I never have bothered using the site to check another player.

I use PT3 to check my own and any regs i play against, but ...

A question for those who do use these sites when you find a players ROI how does it affect your play with that player?

maybe i should be checking more often.

grade b,

I use OPR all the time to get an idea about the opp. The ROI numbers here, while not 100% accurate, can give you an idea about the opp. The more history there is, the more that I'll use those numbers to get an idea about a player.
I also look at where their tourney exits are. A player that has a large % of early or early/mid exits (bottom 30%) will be playing loose from the beginning of a tourney, for example.

I personally disagree, you might find that a player as totally screwed up his stats in the first 3 years and has improved within the last 2 years and that by looking at his total history, it might give you the wrong info.
Also when looking at stats, you might find that a lot of players are very loose, so you will want to take advantage of it, only to lose the tournament because the hand you were ready to take him out, just happens that he's holding AA.
Yes on the average you will win, but how often will you see the same person at your table? Not very often.

I stop looking at stats as it really screws up your game. Just play your game, take notes on players, as those are the best stats you can have. Most important, one note is not enough, so take lots of notes

PS. After talking with most of the sites mentioned above, LOTS of stats are missing (Regional, Private, Satellites and hands played)

My notes are far and away priority 1 for me. Also, for OPR, I look more at the last 120 days, than overall... as players can definitely get better.
