While this qualifies as very good news, I don't think it brings hope of a speedy resolution. Our legal system moves slower than a snail and Congress isn't any better. PPA's progress, while laudable, is minimal imo. Legislation is the best alternative still, but to generate tax revenue we should expect the legalization of US based operators as their income is taxable as well as that of our winnings.

it'll end up being that the site gets taxed on the rake... and the players get taxed on profits... I hope.
