boy oh boy this does my head in,spent two or 3 days winning great then wham again cant win a race or bad beat from tourney to tourney grrrr, does my head in that from tourney to tourney realistically it should be different variances, but to me it seems to be set that if your losing that day you continue to lose no matter what you do,someone please explain why this is to me because i cant understand why this would be!

Have you ever gone on a rush of cards where you just kept winning no matter (pretty much) what cards you held? Well it works both ways.. I suggest getting used to it..
If you've never played a rush though, you might not have experienced that, and if you just play your cards you more than likely never will..
cards sometimes come in waves. sometimes you can ride those waves all the way to the beach, and sometimes those waves come crashing down on your head..GL out there.

I just vented about this in another thread. I just don't understand how anyone can become a consistant winner with such variance. I'm getting very close to throwing in the towel on poker.

I just don't understand how guys like Tom Dwan were able to win so much.

you guys realize the big winners play sometimes upwards of 5-600 games a day? now look at how many you play in a month or 6 months....

They don't.

They lose. A lot.

But the few big cashes they do win make up for the losses.
