I cannot agree with one of the selections of Member of the Month, How can people pick someone who has not said a good word to me, who has taken the Mickey out of me ,not encouraged me and nearly got me to pack in pokerstars . The people whom help and encourage you, should be getting rewarded such as Darkman61 and plenty others , Not the one whom think they god and look down on people.

Hello.

You can find the explanation of scoring for the Member of the Week promotion here: http://www.pokerschoolonline.com/art...e-Week#content

As of last week, this contest has become Member of the Month, but it will use the same scoring system.

As you can see from this link, scoring is based solely upon Forum demeanor, and not on what someone does at the table; part of the purpose of the contest is to reward people for their forum activity.

As one of the judges for content and style, I can assure you that anyone submitting a blog or a forum post as part of their application containing deragatory remarks about ANY member of PSO would receive quite a low score in these areas. As style and content of the submitted links account for half the score, it would be quite difficult for anyone to win by making a slanderous post or blog entry part of their application.

None of the past winners submitted forum posts or blog links with anything like that at all.

The forum, nor any promotions run therein, cannot really be concerned with any activities beyond the boundaries of the forum itself.

I am sorry you feel the way you do, but in all honesty, personally I do not see ANY of our Member of the Week winners as un-worthy.

Thanks for you input.

-JDean

Darkman would be a great choice for Member of whatever, however, he has stated that he doesn't have any interest in entering the contest. And you can't win if you don't put yourself up for it.

I've gotta agree with JD that all of the members that have won have been deserving. All except that effsea guy.
