Did you report this to PStars support? While we, your fellow PSOers, feel for your unfortunate disconnect, there is nothing we can do to help you.

Good luck with PStars support - seems you have a serious connection problem.

Hello Holdemace

As reading your post I see this could be an Problem with your connection to PokerStars, as this is not something I have heard much about Players being sat out.

After seeing the hand you posted in you other thread on this subject as I assume this was the hand you were talking about. As it looked like you timed out.

If you have any more questions please feel free to PM me or post it

Thanks for being part of PSO, and Best of Luck at the Tables

You may know it's not your end, but what about all the internet connections in between you and PS?? Are you running network analysis sw that pinpoints the problem?? It don't think you can determine that PS is the problem without an extensive investigation with a reliable network sniffer.

We all suffer from intermittent internet problems, it just comes with the territory. It's just especially annoying when you have a really good hand.

If anyone wants to backtrack on OPR to October of 2010 you'll see a .25 ($100 added) MTT that I went out 11th in for $4+ dollars. Big whoop I know. But it WAS my first truly deep run in a cash MTT on the site (I had won a couple Astronomers and a league game already...) and with 13 runners left I was sitting 5th and was leaning hard on the chip leader. really had the kind of reads on him where I felt his cards may have well been face up. And then my connection goes kablooey. No biggie it had happened before. But I couldn't get the client to come back up,while all my on-line connection WAS intact,so it was my Stars connection only.

Had to re-boot 3 times to finally get the site back up and by then I had missed almost 30 hands and had dropped to 9th with 11 left. First hand back I get AKo in the cutoff with 12 BB's left and ship over 2 limpers. One calls and shows 44,I blank and rail in 11th.

Then I pull my HH and see that I missed a QQ hand where I would have been in the SB and there was a 77 versus AQs showdown for stacks BEFORE the hand reached the blinds. The 7's held which means I missed a triple up,because there's no way in Hell I fold in that spot. That would have made me the number 2 stack and I really think I would have had a great chance of taking that tourney down had that happened.

This HAPPENS holdem. It's happened to me numerous times,as it has everyone here. A couple times I missed hands that I would have been railed or crippled on to.

The REAL pattern here is that, once again, you are fixated on extraneous factors that you can't control, instead of fixing what's lacking in your own game.

At this point I can't think this is a trend or pattern only. Looks like more of a personality trait.

Unless you tidy this up you will NEVER be a profitable player. That's not an opinion,it's a fact.

Yesterday I wasn't looking at the screen and missed a QQ hand that turned out I would have been sucked out on on the river. Sometimes mistakes or disconnects can be a good thing.
