Our 7th Member of the Week has been crowned, and it is...

GGervacio!

Congratulations is in order for his efforts in the contest, and also a big think you to all the others who applied!

Remember, the Member of the Week is now transforming into the Member of the Month, so there is still a chance for YOU to win a lucrative package of Poker Stars Tourney Tickets!

Any completed applications which meet all the entry requirements makes YOU a possible too!
(Prior winners of Member of the week are excluded).

With the changes in the contest format, you now have lots of time to work on your application to get it juuuuust right, so there is even less reason NOT to try for a chance at a bi win in a Poker Stars MTT!

Good luck to all the future applicants, and to those who have not yet applied, you gotta be IN IT, to WIN IT!

-JDean

Please accept my apology for not posting on this thread soon. I have in fact just read this today. Just for the record, I did post a "thank you" note on my MOW application thread when I got chosen as MOW (http://www.pokerschoolonline.com/forum/showthread.php?38269-GGERVACIO-Application-for-Member-of-the-Week/page2)

I assure all of you that I am as excited as you guys are with the Saturday Line Up Package that I won. I even consider it as one of my biggest accomplishment in poker!!!

I have played my first ticket last night, the $3.30 Saturday Micro. Unfortunately, I did not fare very well. I will give a complete report on it as soon as I figure out where I should post it properly. I intend to go the extra mileage to double up the prize tickets I have won and give a complete account on each tourney ticket i played and even attempt to make 2 videos out of it. But I think this will take some time as I probably can play only one ticket every Saturday due to schedule.

Also, I need to do some preparations before I actually use the tickets, particularly the "BIG" ones $10+. I am still a Micro player staying in the $1 buy-ins, rarely playing $2+. I can not play these tickets as casually as I play the 10 cents 360-player MTT Turbo.
The biggest ticket, well... its Pot Limit Omaha. I never play Pot Limit, nor Omaha. And that ticket is worth more than what I have in my bankroll right now! I don't want to waste the opportunity given to me right now. I emailed the support at Pokerstars and they told me these tickets do not expire so I have all the time I need to learn these Saturday tourneys and prepare for it.

I think this post is getting lengthy, so again, let me thank all of you guys, the admins and moderators of the Member of the Week/Month, it's members, and all of Pokerstars for giving me this very wonderful opportunity. I will do all my best to play the Saturday Line Up Package! Thank you!

Thanks Sir Marvinsytan. No need to get jealous po. I am only a micro player playing in the $1 less tourney. I am sure with a little patience, just like on the poker table, your time will also come to be chosen. I also wish you all the luck! Salamat. (that's Thanks in Filipino for the non-Filipino readers.)

Unless I'm mistaken, you have 4 weeks to play all your games and double your prize. I'm like you, decided that I needed to learn Omaha first, then life interferred. I've given up on doubling in favor of working on cashing on the tickets I already have.

hmmm, 4 weeks... I guess I don't have much time to double-up. I probably have only 2 weeks left. I am trying to find that "rules" but the links to the page doesn't seem to work anymore. I don't want to put any more pressure on myself trying to meet deadlines. I think the best option is what you have chosen. Do my best to cash in on the tickets. And I have all the time I need to prepare for that. Thanks for the warning.
