Please use the hand replayer - this is almost unreadable

As for the hand: raising with the medium pair in MP - I can think of worse things to do with it. The size of your bet, well, nit my thing. There's 150 in the piot in blinds, you're minraising to 200, so the first caller gets good odds to call, and everyone else gets fantastic odds. The next guy then minraises you, and you call, which I don't have a problem with. The odds for setmining are well in your favor.
The rest of the hands is played very very passively. You check to the raiser, who then checks back. I would have made a half-potsize bet on the turn. If he folds, yay me. If he doesn't, I'm done. The turn was good for your hand, but if any overcard hits the river, he could be holding that. Although with his minraises I probably put him on a pair, possibly higher than yours, or a lonely ace. In both cases I'm probably beat.

I think you got away cheap here losing only 600.

Hi Holdemace!

Please use the replayer, or if it won't work for a hand, please try to make the post readable. Thanks!

Preflop: I don't like min raises in these types of situations. If I'm going to open a pot, I try to always make a standard raise, especially when out of position, which for this level is to 300. If the table was being very loose passive, I might consider limping, but I don't like to open-limp. I would call the min raise by the opp here with a pocket pair.

Flop: A 10 9 which is a miss for 88. Due to this, I'm checking the flop.

Turn: 6 This now would give me a pocket pair and a gutshot straight draw. I normally don't like checking two streets in a row, so I'd make a value bet here since the opp checked the flop and I'd size it at about 300-350. If the opp has a hand, they should be raising here, and if so, then I can muck 88 here.

River: Q which now puts four overcards on the board. I'm checking here and if the opp called a turn value bet from me, if they bet the river, I'm mucking, as I know I'm beat.

The opp played this hand very passively for KK. If I was the opp, with the actions that you took, I would have raised to 600 preflop, checked or c-bet the flop and value bet the turn if I checked the flop.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.
