This may have been addressed already - if so, please forgive.

But I just tried to watch the video of sandtrap playing a SNG and it told me I needed 150 VPPs to watch. As an american how can I earn VPP's? If i can't, how can I watch the video? Am I just SOL?

Hi Johnny,

Unfortunately the only way to earn VPP's is to play in real money games, and at present that rules out US members. There are still plenty of non-restricted Live Trainings and Videos that US members can utilize, but unfortunately some of the larger buy in material will have the restrictions.

In the future if US members are able to earn VPP's again, those materials will still be in the video archive available for access.

Thanks,
Dave

I think the 150 restriction is about the VPPs earned in the previous month. So you'd have to earn the 150 VPP in december '11 to be able to watch the stuff.

Hi everyone!

Please note that the 150 vpp is for this or last month and can take up to 48 hours from when you get the 150vpp to be able to watch the videos requiring 150vpp.

Thanks.

And after all the Americans go find learning material elsewhere what will you do to try to attract us back? I for one have all but gave up on continuing my education here as the only reason I open the pokerstars client nowadays is to see friends.

To put unobtainable restrictions on us is a disservice to Americans and the PSO and won't be forgotten easily if ever.

Hi Joker,

There are still plenty of non-restricted Live Trainings and Videos that US members can utilize. Additionaly we are offering hand analysis in our forums which are a great way to improve your poker game.

Nice try there Chris

The way it is set up the training that has no vpp requirements are in a way fairly basic lessons and most of us Americans have advanced to the level where we need better lessons so to improve our game before black friday hit.

One good thing is we Americans have been known throughout history for innovative and creative ways to get around roadblocks put up by others.
Take that for however many grains of salt as you wish.
