Hi everyone,

This is my news and feedback thread. If you have any feedback or requests for me, please place it in here or a PM for me.

I'll also use this thread to announce any new training series.

My twitter is @ahar010 which I'm also starting to use. I'll tweet out when my trainings are about to start and the results from any games we don't get to finish within the live training sessions.

Hope to see you all at the Live training sessions.

Cheers
Andy

Bit of variety today. We're going to look at some PLO8 full ring cash.

It's going to be a beginner focussed session. We're going to talk about the basics, starting hands and basic strategy.

We can also discuss the VPP changes and how it affects this game format.

Hope to see you guys there.

Andy

Well todays training was a blast. I wish I could say I planned to run that good with that title .

Just after training finished the run good continued we won 2 preflop allins to reach a 20k stack in the $4.40 10k GTD. But the cards dried up after that on both tables. And we never got a good spot to get it in.

On the $2.70 KO table we had a LAG sitting on our right raising and 3betting every pot and we never had a hand to compete. We winded up down to 2BB going for the min cash. When we finally get AJ and call a raise. we get headsup for the 10k pot but A6 turned a 6 and we busted 50 players short of the money in 828th

I wouldn't normally blind anywhere near this low but we really just didn't get a chance, The table was very active with alot of raised multiway pots, and no hands to compete with.

On saying the that, the same exact thing happened to us in the $4.40 game. Alot of raised multiway pots. I had a nit on my right this time. I had to fold my blind to a steal raise twice with 52o and 59o. Made it through the bubble. And called the 3rd steal from the nit with J9o almost backdoored a flush on him to beat his A8. But missed and busted 297th for the min cash.

The session was alot of fun though. Thanks to all those that came along.

Hi All,

Unfortunately I've had to cancel my sessions for the next 2 weeks. I'm in London at the moment and the internet seems a little unreliable at the hotel.

I'll be back on the 30th of April for the start of my 27man SnG challenge.

See you then

Nice session Andy -

it is always fun to rail PSOers on the Sunday Specials and an occasional extra rail session like this for our very own series of poker was a good addition.

Good luck all

Yes it was a fun session. Lots of good action on the final table. Congrats to BahamasJoe for taking it down. Like a Bulldozer!

I've done a few Turbo SnG & MTTs in trainings and you'll see some videos in the archive. But I tend to stay away from Hyper-Turbos as I'm not 100% with the pushing ranges etc required in those. I think our trainer Horror77 is up to speed on them and has played a few as part of his Sunday Grind Specials. So he may be able to help you out.

Hey andy, unfortunately i couldnt attend you last training (Last Longer), but could you please do a class on STTs? I've just finished Collin Moshmans book on Sit n Go strategy, but maybe you've got some tips aswell (especially on middle to late stages)

Hi Tom,

I don't really play STTs unfortunately.

There are some videos in the archive from 19honu62 on STTs and also some great videos from SpaceGravy.

Hope they help.
