hi all did you know you get a far better game on freeplay chips than the reel money play. You dont actually win anything except of cause more play chips but what great fun.
Im currently 110k plus in just a few short sessions, its great for practicing all those moves you were afraid to make.
So if your feeling a bit tilty or just not quite in the mood, play chips guys great fun and nothing to lose, but lots to gain with some great plays by people that does get your mind working.

Sit at a $1/$2 nlhe play money cash table. Once you've exhausted your play money roll, you'll get a top up of $1000 (i think).

If you're into play money games, check out Moxie's Cowboy Challenge for play money or mine that mirrors the Battle of the Planets.

As you said, play chip games allows one to try out new strategies and to work on those lessons. Best of all, if you lose, you still gained the experience.

Both challenges have SOME benefit Cairn and I'm certainly going to continue with mine (will be moving to the 2160 45 man's...) but for myself, and I think for you as well, the nanosecond that we are allowed back on here for the real thing I have played my last play money game.

And holdem they aren't as good a game as even the lowest stake real money MTT's and SNG's. Yes there are some spots that play reasonably close enough to say the .25 45 mans that one can work on a couple of things but they are at probably a 75% competency level of the entire game.

So reading too much into what happens and these and thinking it will necessarily apply on the $ tables is a very, very dodgy leap of faith.
