Hello everyone,

I just need to share my sons first song

He wrote the text, and made the music himself... and he is the one who is singing too

You can read more about it under the video on youtube...

Happy Valentines day all

Sounded very interesting, simple but effective music and meaningful lyrics. Though I'm not so 'down with the kids' these days I really like the articulate way they use these music genres to get across their ideas about things that really affect them,

You should post the lyrics somewhere - though not here - they apparently don't like that.

And you should definitely be proud.

Just watched both videos... and was really taken by surprise. My little sisters name is Kayla Marie... and the ironic timing of viewing this and that message is a little too ironic to wrap my mind around right now... but that isn't what I want to focus on...

Your son really did a fantastic job. I can't tell you how inspiring that was to see someone follow through and produce a song and share it with the world, while also being so compassionate and not afraid to share from his heart.

I do think he should continue on. I am not an expert of course, but I am a mom of two boys that are both close in age to your son... and if they did something like this... I think I'd fall out of my chair.

Thank you for sharing... makes me smile to think how proud you feel and how awesome it is that you raised such a great kid! Speaks volumes to what a great mother you are!

Happy Valentine''s Day! Wish there were more mommas like you, raising kids like yours!

Cuz mean people really do suck... and the world would be a much better place if it were filled with a WHOLE BUNCH of REALLY NICE PEOPLE!

And for those of you that need some concrete evidence of this... Watch the video that is linked to her son's first release... I link'd them both again.... it kinda is that important. And if bullies pick on nice people... then nice people should be sure and step up for other nice people and stop the bullying all together, life is too short and in cases like this... it is even shorter because of all the jerks in the world.

Sorry RaBBiiTGiiRL for that bit of a rant but this needs to be said to some people that frequent this forum and they know who they are and if someone thinks it is them that I am talking about ... perhaps they should look in the mirror and make sure they like the person they see looking back at them.

Do to others as you'd have done to you, this isn't rocket science people... this is really a sad story.... I better sign off here before I say something I will regret...

Good job :)

I actually have pretty strong opinions on both subjects, the rap and the bullying, but I guess this is not the place. Just to let you know I'm glad you have a talented son, so do I :)

If you're interested in my views on the subjects, feel free to PM me.
