Is it possible to make a straight from A to 5? (A 2 3 4 5)

hi g welcome to the forum, yes it is possible to hit a straight, but the percentages are not great.

So looking to play hands like that,A3 etc to make the 1-5 straight are not the advised play unless table position is in your favour.

A2345 called the wheel in NLHE is possible this makes A5s a stronger holding than A6s because of the added Straight possibility

Hi Ge_Olicar. Welcome to the PSO forum. There are lots of helpful members here who can answer many of your questions. You can get an overview of the major sections of the site here.

An ace can be high or low in most poker games. The exceptions are in razz and badugi, where an ace is always low, and 27 where the ace is always high.
