I sent an email off to Support to inquire about ACP 2012 - Columbia* Promo. The ACP Promo was announced @ the beginning of March last year, wid qualifiers starting around mid month. I was very disappointed wid the reply received.

I was informed PokerStars will not be running this Promo any longer. That's "NOT" to say... there won't be some sort of spinoff from this. By that, I mean... some sort of... Regional Event... perhaps... Latin Americas Cup of Poker.

Now... dun read this wrong... I'm very happy for all of Latin America, which would, IMO, include Mexico, the ONLY North America country allowed to participate in such an Event.

The following is the reason why the Americas Cup of Poker will no longer be a PokerStars Promo...

Thank you for writing in.

As a result of PokerStars not being able to offer real money
games to players in the USA, APC could no longer be offered.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

PokerStars Support Team

I would like to take this time to give thanks to PokerStars 4 giving me... the opportunity to travel to South America and participate in this great Event. South America is a beautiful destination to travel to... 4 a PokerStars sponsered Event.

I would also like to state @ this time... how... once again... due to BF... Canada has been directly affected by the loss of our southern neighbours.

It's almost like... "WE" are 1...

Sooo... how's ur day goin?

You mean Canada isn't part of the United States? When did you guys leave the Union?

Seriously, it is a shame Canada has to suffer for our DOJ.
