Ok I am just working out how to accurately track my cash game.

I reset my 'stats' box in the PS client table chat/notes/info/stats box - then copy pasted from each of my two sessions that I played today into notepad

Played 2 separate session of 6-max 2NL

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 126 hands and saw flop:
- 11 out of 22 times while in big blind (50%)
- 4 out of 23 times while in small blind (17%)
- 11 out of 81 times in other positions (13%)
- a total of 26 out of 126 (20%)
Pots won at showdown - 4 of 6 (66%)
Pots won without showdown - 14

resets stats at start of 2nd session

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 286 hands and saw flop:
- 15 out of 52 times while in big blind (28%)
- 7 out of 55 times while in small blind (12%)
- 17 out of 179 times in other positions (9%)
- a total of 39 out of 286 (13%)
Pots won at showdown - 4 of 7 (57%)
Pots won without showdown - 52

Played 126+286 = 412 hands

To track my profit I did the following:

Started with $2.00 stack at first table,

when table broke or if I felt it was not good for me,
I left and joined another table with the same stack
I had left at previous table

added $1.20 ($0.80 + $0.40) to table after spewing some
on a couple of occasions

ended sessions with $5.40 total

profit = $5.40 - $2.00 - $1.20 = $2.20

first session lost $0.30
second session won $2.50

check - total profit $2.50-$0.30

OUTCOME 412 hands $2.20 profit

Biggest hand won during the day

I'll be happy with this type of day in the real challenge.

Now have to go work out how to get the Hand Histories.

Good luck all

Now I have PT3 on 60 day trial. HUD is working at the tables - I can see lots of tabulated data on how I am losing my money - still don't know where my Hand Histories are.

Yesterday I saw .txt files of my HHs in the designated folder by going there from PS client, and it says it should save them for 30 days - but today they are not saved there anymore.

All the hands are in PT3 but I still don't know how to get them to a .txt file

Played over 2000 6-max hands yesterday for a profit but can't work out how to report them.

I hate computers.

Ed,

You will see a file for every day you played (not only cash but every game you've played)

This is what I've done:
Click on 2012 and create a new file and call it Challenge
When you finish playing your cash games, go back to the processes folder under 2012 and the date and copy all the HH..........$0.01-$0.02 files into the new file you created (DON'T move them, COPY them)

Then all you have to do is send them the challenge file

Hope this helps

Many thanks Sandtrap -

I have found the files - seems to be one for each of the cash tables I was at. I'll try to combine them like you suggest.

Hi DiveAllin -

I played a couple of long sessions as I wasn't multi-tabling much - mostly on 1 or 2 tables only, at one point I went up to 4 tables but only for 10-15 minutes and I stopped as it was too many for my comfort zone at this format.

Apparently I was online at the tables about 19 hours total (!!!) between 06:41 yesterday morning and 06:49 this morning. Time flies when you are having fun....

I haven't played a long session like that for ages and won't be doing so again any time soon, so will have to practice the muti-tabling a bit more.

PT3 tells me the average speed of the 17 different tables I was on came out at 88 hands per hour over a sample of 2,133 hands that I played.

Hope that's useful.

I am getting to like 6Max2NL - hope I can keep this up through the challenge when it starts.

I have got in 5001 hands of practice over 4 days at a profit of $20

Took me a while to get into it, first 1250 hands were up and down, much steadier since then, though my win rate is probably quite slow - but at least it is positive progress.

I'll do some studying of videos and review these hands a bit more thoroughly to try to plug some leaks.

Good luck all

Completed my practice with 10K hands, though there was a big downswing in the second half I managed to get back to some positive results and ended with $24.81 profit. Not great at $0.25 per 100 hands but at least it is profit.

Here's the PT3 graph

I won't play Saturday - other than PSO/UKIPT League freerolls - but I'm all set for the challenge.

Good luck all
