Hi I'mJigJig!

With this being the middle phase of a 45-man tourney, unless I had a read on the opp that says that they are a nit, then I disagree with being behind 90% of their shove hands.
The opp only has 13BB left, so they could be shoving a wider range. If they are shoving the top 10% of hands, then AQ is slightly ahead in a flip (51% to 49%).

To call would be 1089 chips into a pot that will be 2828 (38.5%). To be an even EV play, the opp would have to only be shoving a top 5% hand and with only 13BB left, most players will be shoving much wider than a top 5% hand.

Due to this, I'm calling the shove by this opp with AQ.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.

Hi I'mJigJig!

If everyone is deep stacked and calling would lose me chip position, then I'd consider folding it.

But, with the stack sizes and the opp being short-stacked (so they will be shoving a much larger range), I'm calling it here, as the play will be +EV in this particular situation, due to the opp's wider shoving range.

Good luck at the tables.
