John Rambo43???

UTG - PENTEKAL is very LAG and has opened last 5 hands and then shoving flop.
ntredicci - havent paid much attention to villain #2 as he hasnt been at the table for very long.

I think K10dd plays well against UTGs range but not sure against V2.

Am i folding here and waiting for a better spot to get my stack in or playing to tight?

Hi JohnRambo43!

I agree with your assessment here. KTd will play well against the LAG's range, but will not play as well in a 3-way pot, especially against a possibly tighter opp.
I put KTd into pokerstove against a 35% range for the LAG (could even be tighter) and a top 10% range for the other opp (could be tighter too since no info on opp). KTd has 28.5% equity against these ranges. If either or both opps are playing tighter, then it could even be less hand equity.
In a 3-way pot, I would have to put almost 33% into the pot. Due to this, the pot equity is higher than the hand equity so I'd fold.

Even if I was only up against one opp that was shoving as wide as 20%, I'd be an underdog in the hand, but the extra chips could then make calling a +EV play, but without a read on how opp 2 was playing and as to whether or not opp 1 would fold, I'll try to find a better situation where I either have a better hand or am up against only one opp.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.

thanx jwk.. Same line of thought as you. My main worry was only v2 but then the LAG could call off with something like KJo too which would have me close to dominated.

(BTW i folded and had aces next had and got both v1 and v2 to get there stacks in pre lol)
