Hey folks, I was wondering if anyone can tell me the places I have to go to when I visit your hometown! For instance, in June I will be going to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and I have never been before so I have no clue what restaurants rock or what places are a must visit. I do know it is 1/12 hrs from Chicago and 1 hr from Milwaukee so any info in those spots would be awesome too.

We live in these cities and we know the best spots especially the places to eat. How often do you hear " ya all the locals eat there!'

Anyway if you are ever in Chatham, Ont Canada you must eat at our 3 best restaurants.

1.Mama Maria's - http://mammamariasristorante.ca/
2. Churrascaria - http://www.chathambreakfasthouse.ca/...ouse-menu.html
3. Tru's - http://www.ckfashion.ca/trusgrillhouse/

As far as things to do in Chatham, Ont well we kinda suck but you can always look up the Cowboy and I will be happy to give you the tour!

Giddy Up!

Cowboy,

where I-94 and rt 50 come together to the east of Lake Geneva, there's a place called 'The Brat Stop'. Gotta go in there and have a brat, cheese fries and a Spotted Cow (local beer only sold in Wisc). For me, it's a mandatory stop anytime I go into Wisc for anything.

Have fun on the trip.

I'm in Oakville ontario and not much to do unless your into boating. If your not may I suggest you go to beer store and come to my place for a BBQ and swim. We can even have a camp fire.

JWK is not only a great mod but also spot on with his recommendation for The Brat Stop. This place was about 2 minute drive from Lake Geneva Wisc due East in Kenosha. We got in the car and drove there for lunch and had the most incredible Brat smothered in saurkraut with cheese fries and of course had to try the spotted cow.
What he didnt mention is that this place has a rather large stage where many bands that you and I both know have performed. Bands like Loverboy, BTO, Night Ranger, The Guess Who, Joan Jett, Charlie Daniels Band, Cheap Trick.
The other side of the restaurant feature what else.... a cheese shop and they had over 100 different cheeses so of course we had to sample a few like Blueberry Cheddar, Swiss Lorraine, 11 yr old Cheddar, habenero jack to name a few.

JWK thanks for the tip! We scored it 8/10 on the charts and will def be back.
