Hello Everyone,
I just registered to Poker Stars today. I am a regular playing high stake cash games at the casino, and my mate told me about Poker Stars in some magazine he read. I was wanting to try this website out, since I am new to online poker, however I would appreciate if I could have a bonus however small before I deposit to see what all the hype is about. I am not sure if this is possible, but I guess that why i am asking. Of course if I like it I will deposit since I do like the idea of the possibilty of multi-table playing.
On another note, my details have not been entered yet, and I cannot seem to enter them all.
Thanks
Help would be appreciated

Does the quiz cover the $3.50 sit and go amount or do I have to pay $3.50 as well?

You can ask to be staked here :

http://www.pokerschoolonline.com/for...s-and-Stakings

But as you're new and with no history on the site it's unlikely someone will go for it. It's usually for small amounts anyway, no higher than about $30 that is staked but you can have a read of the thread.

If you have a friend who plays Pokerstars, he can transfer funds to you. This is handy for those that are scared to make their first deposit although to lift any funds out you need to enter your bank details anyway.

Finally, coming from live and not the other way around might be a lot moe different than you think. I know several good live players that can't cut it online, their strengths are in reading players and live tells. You will see up to 3x as many hands and while there are many tells online, it's more to do with betting patterns than any physical tells.

You can still play the freerolls here and try and build real money from nothing but it's a hard process and maybe not what your after. Freerolls are still a good way to familiarise yourself with the software.

Good luck.

Yes I managed to figure I got staked $3.75 (well $5, but I gave the $1.25 since I did not use it. I ended up having a revenue of $6.52, so it worked out well, except I lost my profit which was $1.01, on some cash table and in a tournament both where I had AA. But other than that all good.
