Hi guys,

I really like mtt ,cuz there are a lot of action and it keep my focus at the table.I already did everything of the courses at pokerschool but is that all for the mtt strategy?
But i also have few questions about mtt
-What to do if you are the short-stack?
-How to build a big -stack?
-How to get information from your opponents and on the right way.
-People say you need 100 buy-in for a tournament, but what if i'm not in the cash for 100 times,do i have to despoit 100 buy-in,i play 0,25 mtt so i need to despoit 25 dollar if i go broke. Is it smart to play mtt for beginners? I also play mtt for freeroll on pokerschool but i like to play for real money :P
-When can you make a 3bet?
-Why does a lot of ppl make min-raises,i dont what part of strategy that is....

So,if i have more questions i will post it on forum if you guys dont mind :P
Thank you very much !

Hi Hbhuang!
1) depends on the table dymamics... the players and how they're playing. each situation will be different
2) a big stack needs to be built by playing solid poker
3) watch how the opps are playing and what their bet sizes are
4) for proper bankroll management, 100 buy-ins is recommended. There will be long variance streaks, where players can lose 20-30 or 40 in a row. 100 buy-ins should be able to withstand these streaks
5) depends on the situation and the table dynamics
6) it depends on a player's style... normally min raises don't accomplish much, especially at small blind levels

many of these things will vary greatly depending on who's at the table, how they're playing etc... there won't be a single 'always correct' answer for them, as they're situation dependant.
