HOT NOW
The HOT NOW List is my "tribute" of sorts to those who have shown they know the route to playing successful MTT Online Poker.
Straight Flush
Sorry, this hand was deleted by its owner
As we PSOers play our hundreds & thousands of games each month it becomes so increasingly apparent just how important it is to place in the money & after that, make the Final Table (FT), & after that, make the top 3 or better, WIN !

So, how do these guys get to where they are going. Let's take a look..... These are the players & dates they made the top 20
1................antonnnn6 ................05-05
4................9Aleksandr9.............05-05
6................Vendyshek...............06-05
12..............Ariadna.by................06-05
2................kekec24....................07-05
3................Vassillyok................10-05?
9................sviyat........................13-05?
11..............PokerFedor82..........15-05?
So, by the middle of the month, these eventual Top 10 Players had already established they were ready to compete for the Top Prizes.

WOW, Can U get a sense of what kind of strategy they might be thinking about or how really great these guys 'might' really be ? I'm not capable of properly digesting this info but i think it's interesting.
On the 19th we saw the setup in 1st=antonnnn6, 2nd=kekec24, 3rd=Vassillyok set in stone with many other eventual Top 20 Players on the first page(top 50) of the leaderboard.
By the 24th, we saw 666<Angel>ko & Ariadna.by arrive, Pentire, I_Saint, adyvoy77, Burashka Che, PolarisM51, & sviyat had made their move and were ready to attack the leaderboard. The 25th saw a move by noonecry & ASDEASESSEIS & soon after came letp1973 & ludashkaKK in the top ten. On the 28th, Vendyshek & PokerFedor82 took a look with bgorilla007 & Kolian_wolf on the bubble. The 29th brought Anlv89 & on the 30th we got to see WayneHan9 make his bid for the Big Bucks with Dolphin23594 & AriSoze making and appearance in the 14th & 15 spot.
Oooo, Things were really beginning to look like a there might just be a fight for the 2nd 5 spots...& Ari did not disappoint with a 2nd on the 30th in G4(Game 4) & a 2nd on the 31st in G3, he was poised to take the thing down again with another 2nd or 1st.
Always lots of "railers" for the final game & Final Table where we saw Pentire, chori2002, CMS SOARES, maringurrr, & fathergoldie give it their best & PokerFedor get back in the top 10.
Great Month in the PSO"P" !

ALSO. if there are any other league members who would like to publish a really great hand like a Royal Flush, or some other morsel, i'd love to include it within the post.

Some notable League play I want to mention this month now comes under the heading of

ASDEASESSEIS made b2b FTs (7th & 8th) on the 30th
PokerFedor82 made 2FTs (7th & 9th) on the 30th

And so, without much further adieu, I present the

list with 4 this month is listed 1st. ( #s = tourney finishes )
Here are the 51 (6 less than last month) players deserving admission to the LIST this month with adyvoy77,antonnnn6, sviyat & ASDEASESSEIS averaging 2 F-Ts each week V.Very Nice.

LOL, we still didn't get it right sleepy.
El_Seco108 appears twice on the 6 FT list
PokerFedor82 should be 277379, KofR&R should be 317675 and JustFighting should be 599658 and all 3 should move from 5 FT list to 6 FT list.
flexiblebird 6213 is missing from the 4 FT list.
Total is 51.

Great work gents. Your work adds huge value to the league for me, and others I am sure.

Strange month. I feel huge disappointment at what I was so close to and made a complete mess of (lost my game for a week, no idea why). I feel huge encouragement that when my brain was engaged, I scored well. Also, I have never had a month where so many players have called me a "donk". I'm taking it as a sign of improvement!

Sleepy and Gramps,
look forward to chatting at the tables in June

Thanks so much for the great work month after month. Also, thanks for the honorable mention even though it goes outside your normal stats. I miss you in the league, Sleepy -- next month, OK? I've been missing you too, Grampex. I'll probably see you on the 3rd.

The b2b final tables are incredible. Every time I try to follow up a good one I get AA or a set cracked in the first 10 minutes.

What do you think about the severity of the negative points after you reach 1,900? I think some modification is in order because it takes away from the competition. We didn't see any of the top 4 this month after the 20th.

Congratulations antonnnnnnnnnnnnnn -- you're a good listener -- hahaha

Roseanne,

If the scoring wasn't so severely penalised, the leaders would just keep on playing. The heavy negative points are vital to stop the best players playing every tourney in the month.

I am currently killing myself playing in nearly 50 games, I cannot play in any more. A skill league shouldn't be about who can play in the most games (we have the open league for that).

And you are not quite correct, top 4 players did play after the 20th! That is why I found myself in 88th place going into the final day (I was in 4th on the 23rd, 9Aleksandr9 took 4th on the 24th I think!). Also, Kekec24 and Vassilyok played in the very last tourney trying to overtake Antonnn.

HIya "P",
Those donk callings are a sure sign the player has "NO IDEA" what it takes to get to the FT other than a huge string of coin-flips. I was exactly the same way till monkeyskunk4 explained it all to me .
Oh, I was just feeling so good about you making Top Ten last month..............On track for 8-9 FTs and then the 'other guy' started playing ... June is yet another month and perhaps u can build on this months progress.

Hiya "Guy",
HA HA HA, What do "I" think.... Rosanne, my love, I don't think about anything concerning 1900 points Sometimes in my dreams...but while awake, 1900 seems to be a little above my 'pre-set PS Limit I think "P"s comments are probably valid & so now we both know
Great Luck in June

Pentire, thanks for your insight and your corrections. I knew that Aleksandr played for 3 or 4 days after the top 3 retired. I was not aware of 2nd and 3rd playing in the final tournament.

As far as the severity of the negative points, I'll just have to develop my game to build chips for the late action without getting unduly involved on any given hand. I'm OK with the point system but I miss the top guns at the end of the month.

I'd like to add that I have the utmost respect for three players in the league. I think that kekec24, maringurrr and AriSoze are top of the line players and could compete anywhere. Well done month after month, guys. I'm hoping to be right there with you very soon.

I'm competing this month and ready to go. BEWARE OF ROSANNE!!! hahaha

Thank you Rosanne for kind words.

I agree with Pentire concerning negative points. In my opinion they are a must in this system. Every system has flaws and its impossible to make perfect one that would suit everyone, but i think this one is pretty good and fair. We have players from different continents and time zones, some have family,jobs.....so its really hard to make a good system. Without negative points the scores would go over 2500 points and only players with 80+ tournaments played would be at the top. Some players would even play as a team. With the system as it is now i can compete against them, if there were no negative points it would have become pure grind. The idea of a maximum negative points beyond 1900 would have the same effect just not as strong. It would be unfair to those that can not play manny tourneys.
I think this month actually showed that the system works well. Yeah its not perfect and a little strange to see first 3 not play for half a month, but it was an exceptional month and i dont expect this very often. Its important that it was shown that you can come into top 3 by playing just 26-31 tourneys (anton 26 , vassil 28 , me 31 and we all played the last one , which was unnecessary) and i think thats great. If someone does it that fast i think they deserve a break, its just part of the system. League is gettin better also i think-1765 for 80th place was a record, but i think its getting tougher to get over 2050 points as it was before. I dont remember if it was march or april (probably march) , that noone could crack 2000 mark for a long time. Lets just see what june brings us and good luck to all of you.

PS: thank you again for interesting stats and facts.
