This is probably a standard play but I am wondering if I should have make my 3 bet smaller. I believe he was isolating the loose passive guy. This was his first raise. He sizing makes me believe he may have 10+ or maybe I am wrong . I don't think it make sense to post his stats or this was the 7th hand. How would you extract maximum value for this hand ?

Hi animosama,

I do think the bet sizing is a little large, given the situation... something like .28 or .29c fits a bit better here I think. His initial raise is larger than it needs to be, which is where I think your bet sizing came from, it was just roughly 3x his bet. It's not bad or anything, but it does make it harder for him to make a loose call or to feel comfortable playing back at you on a resteal.

I find that a lot of times because of the limpers i end up making my 3 bet large. Especially in they called. Should I consider there limp as nothing and just isolate the raiser. Do what would you say is an okay 3 bet amount I could use so that they call make loose calls ?

Also if the UTG had raised 3bb and the other 2 villains called. What would the general 3 bet amount be ?
