Hi guys. I am needing help. I know my self that I am a oksih player. I play ABC tight. poker. Now I started to play on the BRM freeroll, but people go with utter garbage. I did how ever come back from 35 chips to 15k but got donked out.

Anyway Is it really possible to win these sort of freerolls, I know it's all about grinding and knowing when to fold. but honsetly if your playing against a fish in a freeroll and he flops two pair 45o And you have AK with top pair. your going to call his shove arnt you

SO any advice would be nice.

Hi nghtowl686!

Welcome to the forum. Here's a link that will help to get you familiar with the various things that PSO has to offer.

I don't know that particular freeroll, as I've never played it, but should be similar to the astronomers, etc. They can be won, but only with great patience and some luck. If it's anything like the astronomers, you will have to outlast 6-9k players.... which is not easy.
The keys that I've used in them is to play extremely, extremely tight for the first hour or two (maybe 3-4 hrs) to be able to have most of the maniacs get KO'd. Then I can open up and play my normal game.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.

Hi nghtowl686. Welcome to the PSO forum. Here is a link that shows you the major features of this site. You are invited to join our community home game. You can find the information here.

I have not played the BRM freerolls. However they sound very similiar to the first round of the astronomer's freerolls. If so, you can do well in them. A TAG style works well. Try to avoid going all in as much as possible. Play tighter during the early stages, then loosen up after most of the gamblers have busted.

Good luck

There a donk fest with a crap payout structure.

That said, there is a strategy to cashing in them: be lucky. Be prepared to call the shove monkeys with decent hands and after a couple of double ups complements of the donkeys, That should send you on your way to cashing. If you cash enough times and make it into the top 200 places on the BRM Leader board, you'll earn entry into a $1,500 monthly freeroll. The quality in that's a fair amount better.

Its not the perfect system, its very luck dependent, but it did work for me.
