i play a lot of these, and matches are taking upwards of a half hour, sometimes as much as 45 minutes, before a winner is finally declared. i'm playing upwards of 75 hands. think my record is 96 hands in one match (lost that one ) the style of my opponents is getting to the point where it's simply impossible for matches to end sooner than this and expect to win. i probably win between 50-60 percent of the time. i know i could do a lot better, and i'm working on that. but my question is, is it really worth playing these when the time commitment is so long considering the small payout? can anyone suggest something i could try that could make them end sooner? i play ultra-aggressively so maybe i could tone that down a bit, though i thought that was the proper way to play.

the blinds go 10/20, 15/30, 25/50, 50/100, and 75/150. so that leaves 10 bb effective stacks when both players are dead even, bascially eliminating postflop play. i think i even got to 100/200 before, so that's over 50 minutes!!!!

lol yeah i do play these on occasion. never was a big fan of turbos. but now the problem becomes the number of hands u get. the matches are still going to end at 75/150 because the style of my opponent's play is no different, but ur gonna get dealt less hands before this level.
