hi, i watched Andrew Brokos video and he recommended opening from utg 4 BB utg+1 3,5 BB cutoff 3 bb button 2,5 bb and small blind 4 bb . seems like a good strategy but have not seen much done in other videos. so is it a better strategy than opening 3 bb from everywhere or not? 6 max game.

i have not seen that vid but tried a similar line and it was disaster....i have gone back to 2.5 blind raise regardless of holdings if i enter the pot and pre-plan my attack depending on reactions of other players in the hand. Caveat to this statement is a firm post flop plan ... it has much improved my success in mtt match but is 50/50 for ring games. Hope this helps.... still a newb so look forward to the more experienced players comments cheers r0ck gl at the felt
